Executive Director – Seattle, WA

The Department of Global Health (DGH) at the University of Washington is seeking a professor, without tenure, to fill the role of the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) Executive Director. I-TECH is the largest center within DGH and has capacity development projects underway in more than a dozen countries and hosts 13 locally registered offices outside of the US with approximately 600 staff.

I-TECH/DGH seeks an Executive Director who is a visionary and motivating leader who can mentor faculty and staff while strategically directing I-TECH into the future. The ideal candidate should be able to provide leadership on applied, practice-oriented implementation science and appreciate the value of both research and practice in global health. He/she should be able to provide scientific vision that fosters innovation, builds sustainable capacity, and helps I-TECH and its partners to translate evidence-based interventions and policies into practice. The Executive Director must be able to operate in an organizational culture that values diversity, equity and inclusion and values its long-established Operating Principles.

Senior Program Manager – Seattle, WA

The International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Program Manager with the Côte d’Ivoire team.

This is a senior management position with significant program management, budget oversight, and finance management responsibilities. As delegated by the Principal Investigator, this role works directly with the Country Director in-country, with funders, with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to effectively design, implement, and achieve project deliverables.

Data Coordinator – Northeast and Western Regions, Jamaica

The International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) has an outstanding opportunity for a Data Coordinator for the Northeast and Western regions in Jamaica.

The Data Coordinator will play a critical role in collecting and summarizing Monitoring and Evaluation data across the portfolio of activities in Jamaica. This role will be primarily responsible for overseeing all data collection and will provide regular data quality checks and data management to ensure the utmost data integrity. In addition, the role will regularly provide status updates and data summaries to the team to allow for real-time course correction.

Consultant Positions

Technical / Grant Writing Consultant – Seattle, WA

The International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) has an outstanding opportunity for a Technical/Grant Writing Consultant to assist with writing and developing proposals for up to twelve weeks. The consultant cannot have a conflict of interest as a current US CDC employee.

Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have experience in HIV/TB Lab/Diagnostics and international development with PEPFAR and other HIV-focused funders, prior experience writing and winning CDC PEPFAR grants, and strong monitoring and evaluation skills. Experience working in PEPFAR-supported countries and relationships with local non-governmental organizations in Lesotho, Eswatini, and the Caribbean region is desired.
